About Us

This journey started around three years ago when my then 8 year old daughter began making amazing creations with resin. She wanted to sell them so we named ourselves S&P Creations for our initials and signed up for our first craft show. I thought we needed a few more things so I created a few items with my Cricut and played with sublimation and created tumblers,wind spinners, etc. 

We did pretty good that first year and I decided our focus would be unique handmade gifts. But…..the resin was just a mess to clean up. So I bought her a melt and pour soap kit. She loved creating different shaped soaps and people loved them. I did more research and learned how to make cold process soap. I began thinking about all the bath products we buy and the chemicals and preservatives that keep the, shelf stable.  I wanted to make something pure from scratch with less plastic packaging and the current day S&P Creations was born.  

We still want to be a store for unique gifts but we are continuing to learn how to make more self care products with natural oils and no preservatives. Our symbol is the sea turtle. We have always been fascinated by them. Our mission is to lessen plastic waste to help keep their oceans clean!  It is a process to make these changes in your everyday life and even we have just started.
